What to consider when preparing for a professional window or door installation
A good quotation begins with the property and the way the opening will be used. We look at access, protection, removal, fixing, sealing, glazing, making good and final operation checks. The best answer is not always the same for every room, so it is worth considering privacy, daylight, furniture positions and how often an opening will be used before settling on a specification.

We manufacture made-to-measure products in Bristol and can provide supply only or professional installation across Bristol and nearby areas, depending on the project. Installed work is surveyed before manufacture; supply-only customers remain responsible for confirming their order sizes and fitting requirements.
From first enquiry to finished order
Before fitting, we agree access and identify anything that must be moved. On the day, the team protects the working area, removes products in a controlled sequence and checks each new frame before final sealing and adjustment.
The property and scope determine price: floor level, parking, lifting, bay construction, structural work and making-good can matter as much as the number of units. The quotation should identify known site requirements.

What does the installation quotation include?
The written quotation should identify the products, glass, colour, installation scope and agreed removal or making-good. Ask about anything that is unclear before confirming the order.
Can you work in an occupied home?
Yes. Access, furniture, floor protection, pets and the order of work are discussed beforehand. Customers should remove curtains, blinds and fragile items unless another arrangement has been agreed.
What happens after fitting?
The installers check opening, closing and locking, and explain relevant operation. Any concern should be raised promptly so it can be inspected while the details are fresh.
